About Zippo Lighters

George Blaisdell founded the Zippo Manufacturing company in 1932 and since then Zippo have manufactured over 500 million lighters from their factory in Bradford, Pennsylvania USA. Because of the success and reliability of the Zippo lighter the design has remained largely unchanged over the years. In 2017 the Zippo Manufacturing Company celebrated their 85th anniversary and released 2 special edition lighters to commemorate the occasion.

The Zippo lighter has appeared in many Hollywood movies over the years and has been branded with all sorts of fantastic designs and logos. Because of the huge range of designs which are constantly changing, there is a worldwide following of tens of thousands of loyal collectors - some of whom own 1000's of Zippo lighters. There are over 500 lighter designs in the UK range at any one time and each year Zippo release around 100 new lighter designs onto the market, whilst dropping around 100. Because some popular models are discontinued each year, they become highly sought after collectors lighters.

The Zippo Lifetime Guarantee

Because of the reliability of the Zippo lighter and the simplicity of the design - there's not much that can go wrong with a Zippo lighter. Virtually every part is replaceable or fixable by the owner relatively easily. However in some circustances - in the unlikely event that something mechanical should go wrong with the lighter, then you have total peace of mind that Zippo will honour their promise of the "Zippo Lifetime Guarantee". Their guarantee is a true promise whereby you can send the lighter back to them (even if it's 40+ years old) and they will return it to you in working order. The guarantee states "Any Zippo lighter, when returned to our factory, will be put in first class mechanical condition free of charge, for we have yet to charge a cent for the repair of a Zippo lighter, regardless of age or condition". Please note however that the guarantee does not cover the finish on the lighter and cosmetic wear and tear or artwork damage etc..

We are passionate about Zippo lighters and stock the entire UK Zippo range which currently runs plus many many lighters from previous years (which have been discontinued by Zippo but we still have in stock).. Because of the unique way Zippo releases new designs into the range whilst dropping a similar number of lighters means that each year our collection grows and grows. We offer an engraving service on most of the Zippo lighters and our workshop has the latest state of the art engraving machines which produce extremely high quality results. We are proud of our engraving service and of the engraved Zippo lighters which we produce.

We aim to offer the current Zippo range at extremely low discounted prices. We can do this as we don't pay to advertise in many places and because of this we can pass the savings on. Most of our business comes from referrals, recommendations, collectors and repeat business.
